Boy Scout Troop 520 of Hinckley, Ohio has been in operation since being re-chartered at Our Lady of Grace on April 1st, 1994 after several years of dormancy. Prior to Troop 520’s dormancy, the unit was chartered through the Hinckley Grange and had been active from the 1950’s through the mid 80’s. Today Troop 520 is proud to serve over 30 young men from in and around Hinckley, Ohio
Centenial Award
Troop 520 has been awarded the Centennial
Quality Unit Awards for 2007, 2008 and 2009, The troop has twice
earned the designation of Great Trails Council Honor Unit and has
earned the National BSA Quality Unit Award ten years in a row prior
to its being replaced by the Centennial Quality Unit Award. Nine
Scouts have earned the rank of Eagle Scout as of March 1, 2010.
